Ongoing Funded Research

Department has a recognized Research Center of Savitribai Phule Pune University and offers Ph.D. in various areas of Electrical Engineering.

  • There are 4 recognized Ph.D. guides available at the Research Center.
  • The state-of-the-art research lab is available with computing facilities and all major application software in Electrical Engineering. The research laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art measuring equipment and hardware facilities. (Refer the table given below).
  • Online access to various e-recourses, e-journals, and the digital library is available with a Wi-Fi facility.
  • Access to a research laboratory is available for 24 hours.
  • Consultancy services on power system studies, power quality, energy management are offered to industries.
  • Technical training sessions for R&D professionals are organized and technical expertise for patent revocation is offered through the Research Center.

Power Quality 3198, High-end Power Quality analyzer 3390, ultrasonic flow meter, storage oscilloscope, Isolated channel oscilloscope, NI hardware interface cords, d-Space hardware, combustion analyzer, 110kV DC/145kV AC voltage source, IR tester, Total oil test system, Tan delta measurement, Switchgear and relay test bench with current injection facility
